High Mileage but well maintained Sprinter.
This van was used as an airport limo, and then as Gertie the Bus on Gabriola before I bought it last year. I looked at quite a few sprinters before choosing this van. Although she'd racked up quite a few kms, until my ownership, its always had commercial vehicle inspections. So everything actually gets maintained! The tires are great, brakes, lights, everything functions as it should. The only two exceptions are, the windshield washer fluid warning light stays on, and the AC doesn't engage. In the year I've had Gertie, I never felting like fixing these two things, as I'm a drive with the windows down kind of guy anyway.
I've had the van for a year, I bought it for a specific job, when I had to transport a whole bunch of large cabinets, but the job finished months ago, and I'm just not driving the van enough to warrant keeping it. I had thought that after the job I'd camperize the van, but I can see that I'm just not going to have time, and feel like the van could bring great joy to someone else, as well as free up some driveway space at my place.
It's 14' inside from the back of the seats, to the closed back doors. Absolutely humungous!
It uses no oil or coolant, has no drips, and gets 10L/100km around town, a little better on the hwy. That's hauling a thousand pounds of tools. (I'm a cabinet maker)
She drives amazing, smooth loaded or empty, much better than any domestic van I've driven.
