Center stage we have in single plugs: Green Romaine, Red Romaine, Green Leaf, and Red Leaf. Mix and match these individual little starters for a blend to suit all tastes.
Also starring in the chorus line are our 6 packs of Buttercrunch, Parris Island Cos, Gourmet Mix, Bistro Salad Blend, and Red Oakleaf.
And introducing Myway Arugula, a quality Danish strain - the earliest of the arugulas to mature in our salad garden. The deep green, serrated leaves show good disease tolerance and, even though they mature early, do not stretch or bolt with the first warm spell. Slightly milder in taste than others, it is a great choice for braising or for tossing into a mild mesclun blend.
Any of these nutritional super stars can be can be planted straight into the garden, or potted up in planters to keep handy by the kitchen door, or on your deck or patio. From your garden to your table - salads have never been fresher!!
Lettuce credentials include a high water content, making it a refreshing choice during hot weather as well as being packed with nutrition - calcium, potassium, vitamin C, folate, and more!!
Oooops, I think some green kale plugs snuck into show - it seems they want to get into the salad act as well!
