The potatoes are sweet - the fresh leaves are great in salads, or in soups, and dried, they make a nice tea.
We have been growing sweet potato in Victoria now for four years, and we love them. We grow them in nutritionally poor soil, slightly sandy with a hoop house, so summer temperatures are up around 100 F (40C).

At the farm - Saturdays from 10am - 2pm until June
