Historical dolls and books for sale!
I have a set of dolls called Faithful Friends created in the nineties as an alternate to American Girls that I am selling.
They were beautifully crafted by Heidi Ott, the famous doll designer. They came with a book each, but unlike the AG dolls were all set in the same time period (1850's) and were all friends. Each girl came from a different background in the same town and yet became inseparable friends... there was Maggie, the red headed Irish immigrant tom-boy, Beth, the blond, wealthy business man's daughter, Ellie, the African American Reverend's daughter, and Hannah, the brunette farmer girl who can sing.
I own all four books and three dolls... everyone except Hannah. The dolls lived in their boxes and were not played with, so they are in like new condition. They are truly beautiful. They are 18", vinyl and cloth, with wigs, like American Girls. The books are called: Meet the Friends, Friends on Ice, Flower Girl Friends, and Best Friends Under the Sun, and are in good condition.
I would like to sell them all together, as they are a set, but would sell them separately. I would like $170 for all three dolls in boxes with all four books. Or I would be willing to sell a doll with a book for $60 each. The books are not doll specific, however, as they are about all four girls, so you could take your pick. (The books are really hard to find, btw, and the average price for the dolls out of box is $70-100 each, although you can find them cheaper occasionally in the states).
