CAMBRIA (a 1998 Westerly Ocean 43) built by renowned British Shipyard, Southampton UK, was designed ahead of her time. This is not your grandfather's Westerly! Westerly listened to Ron Holland, world renown mega yacht designer, & using computer dynamics, they redesigned the under body, the sail plan/rigging & the hull. She has a very strong performance hull with a shallow draft bulb keel. Inside we find two large cabins with ensuite head/showers, impressive galley, superb navigation station and a 60hp Volvo with 3 blade feathering prop. The Ocean 43 has a specific look with smooth deck lines, deep center cockpit and a retrousse transom with a built in boarding platform, but not forgetting the comfort required for long-distance ocean passages. They hit it bang on with the Ocean 43. She is a fantastic sailing machine. She is strong, a good sea-keeper, points to wind very well, stable, quick and comfortable.
