Selling our 2002 VW Golf TDI- downsizing, just don’t need two cars.
The good:
Previous owners converted it to biodiesel, can run on both bio or regular diesel.
Well cared for, regularly maintained- also was with the original owners.
Power everything, heated seats, sunroof.
Brand new clutch, battery, and front tires.
Super fun to drive, comfortable seats, and you can’t beat 40mpg- really the perfect car for long or short hauls!
The bad:
Crack below sight line in windshield, totally useable until you’re ready to replace it, or get it swapped out right away.
The quirks:
1 glow plug needs replaced, so the check engine light is on- still starts and functions totally fine, it’s been like this since we bought it, we’ve had no need to replace it.
Again, super fun to drive, AND super practical as you really can’t beat how cheap it is to drive + how much stuff you can haul with the seats down. I’m gonna miss this car- but we don’t need two, so come scoop it up at a great price!
3000 firm, looking for a quick sale. Will relist at a higher price if we replace the windshield.
