Oca - Oxalis tuberosa - Andean Potato in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia for sale

Oca is a often referred to as an Andean potato, as it is a root tuber that is used like a potato. It is a herbaceous plant, that has foliage that is similar in appearance to clover. It grows in full sun to part shade, setting tubers over the summer, and into the fall after the first frosts have knocked the gentle foliage down. The size is a couple inches long, the taste is crisp like potato with a mild lemon flavour, best described like Greek Potatoes you'd find at a restaurant.
