George is looking to get out on the trails, he is a big boy at 16.2hh and will require an experienced rider as he can be quite cheeky. I often compare him to the boy who eats glue in the back of the classroom. He is my main man though and I would like to see him get used more. He is good for the most part, but keeps his rider on their toes with the attention span of a toddler. He is a Standardbred, 10 yrs this year, he will walk,trot and canter, but still paces. There is a ring on the farm, but he prefers the trails, just depends how much work you want that day! He is for lease for $100- ride as much as you want, however, he is barefoot now, but if going out on the trails a few times a week, will need shoes which is the only added cost to the leaser.
Next is Roxie, she is a 10yo Reg. Sport Pony. She is the one we put all of the new riders on and pony on trail rides with our kids. She is on the larger pony side being 14.2 and built like the part paint in her, but is very elegant and really knows how to move. She is also great for intermediates, she may test when something is asked of her, but is very responsive to the leg and bit. We have done some jumping with her, she has been on lots of trails and has been to the beach for a swim :) We would like $200/ride as much as you want.
Both of them are used to kids, are used to commotion, but can have their spunk at times. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Options can be worked out as well.
